What is liquid MDMA?

I recently obtained some liquid MDMA, the problem is I have no idea if I can trust the source of it so could you please tell me how to tell if it is liquid MDMA or bunk?

It is very unlikely that this is MDMA. MDMA virtually never comes in liquid form Most likely it is GHB, which is marketed by some unscrupulous (or maybe just ignorant) individuals as 'liquid ecstasy'. Though the effects of MDMA and GHB are quite different, they could possibly be confused by novices or people who have only had low dose or never experienced pure MDMA.
MDMA does not dissolve well in water, and will have a somewhat bitter taste to it. GHB dissolves quite well in water, and will be very salty or soapy tasting. Unfortunately without being able to do a side-by-side comparison, those tastes may be difficult to distinguish. Suffice it to say that if you were sold something called 'Liquid MDMA', we'd give it a 95% chance that it's GHB.
