How else can I injest a pill? Can they be smoked or snorted?

Is it possible to crush up coricidin pills and take them differently...like smoked or snorted? Because everytime i swallow the pills, it gets harder and harder, and makes me want to puke. How can i take these pills so that i wont puke? I took them recently, and about 1 hour or so later I puked up everything in my stomach and dry heaved for a while. This is the first time i have puked (I've done them 8 time). |

If you're taking more than a couple coricidin pills at a time (for their DXM content), check to see what active ingredient are listed on the box. If the pills contain guaifenesin that's certainly the reason you're feeling nausea as that's guaifenesin's intended purpose. Make sure that DXM is the only active ingredient listed, as many substances which DXM is combined with can be dangerous when taken above the recommended dosage. Even DXM alone causes many people quite a bit of nausea and other unpleasant side effects.
As far as other methods of ingestion, you really should not be injesting a pill intended to be taken orally any other way. The waxes, binding agents, and dyes can be very harmful to the lungs if smoked and the nasal passages if snorted.
If you are experiencing an adverse reaction to a drug which was prescribed to you by your doctor for a particular condition, contact them as soon as possible and see about switching to a different medication. If you experience adverse reactions to drugs you are taking recreationally, perhaps you should listen to what your body is trying to tell you.
