What are the effects of LSD and MDMA when taken together?
Q: I havent noticed any liturature concerning the interaction of LSD and MDMA. What is there affect on one another when taken together.

A: The individual effects of LSD and MDMA are definitely altered when taken together. Very little is known about the pharmacology (the interaction between the chemical and your neurochemistry) of this combination, but as you'd expect, the resulting trip (called "candy-flipping") is a combination of the effects of each substance alone. The high is generally higher than that reached by a standard dose of either LSD or MDMA alone. The talkative, open, friendly experience most common with MDMA is still there, but with the visuals and 'trippier' experience of LSD mixed in.

Dosages for each are usually lowered when used in combination as they synergize with each other...pushing in the same direction. People also report that the hangover the next day is somewhat worse than that of MDMA used alone. For a sense of the experience, read the candy-flipping trip reports under MDMA Combinations in the Experience Vaults.
