What are the dangers of 'chalk'?
Q: |
I'm afraid for one of my friends and his expirementation, I think he's trying chalk now, are their any kind of drugs in chalk that could affect him negatively?? |

The first thing to determine is what he means by "chalk". "Chalk" is sometimes used as a slang name for methamphetamine. It's difficult to know from your question whether this is what you mean or whether you mean actual chalk, like from a chalkboard.
For information about methamphetamine, see our meth vault at:

Chalkboard chalk is primarily calcium carbonate, which should have absolutely no psychological effects at all. If he is snorting it, it may be bad for his mucous memranes (as with snorting just about anything). If he is eating it, he is actually getting a calcium suppliment. If he is getting any effect off of this, then most likely it is not chalk. Obviously an unidentified white powder could be just about anything. |
