Is it safe to combine AMT with 2C-T-2?
Q: |
Would it most likely be safe or unsafe to take AMT with 2C-T-2? I wanted to use the 2C-T-2 to "get through" the tail end of the AMT experience (which can go on and on and on...). I'd really appreciate some insight.

First, just so we're clear, nothing is safe. Every activity involves risk.
That said, it's impossible to give definite answers about experimental drugs such as 2C-T-2 and AMT, especially when taken in combinations. Neither of these substances has a particularly long or well studied track record. We have two reports about the combination of AMT and 2C-T-7 (which is very similar to 2C-T-2), both of which didn't go so well.

But we also know of people who have done this combination without problems. AMT is reported to be a mild MAOI which means it might well potentiate (increase the effects of) both 2C-T-2 and 2C-T-7 to some degree. It's possible, but unknown, whether this could have had anything to do with the relatively bad experiences described above. The issue of AMT being an MAOI is the only specific chemical interaction which we know of which would cause concern about this combination.
One thing to keep in mind is that any psychoactive drug can produce unpredictable results, and this is doubly true for experimental drugs such as these. Combining substances makes things even more unpredictable, and the more substances you add to the mix, the harder it becomes to say what will happen. A few common sense guidelines :
- Always be familiar with how a drug affects you on its own before trying it in combinations
- When trying a new combination, always take a much lower dose of each drug than you normally would.
Drug use is not a race, nor is it a drinking contest, so take things slowly and gradually. |
