Mescaline and PCP are very different chemicals. It wouldn't, however, be surprising if someone was selling PCP as "Mescaline". It is very uncommon to find Mescaline available on the street these days and actually have it be Mescaline. More often than not, substances sold under the name "Mescaline" are LSD.
Mescaline is a psychedelic while PCP is more of a disassociative. While PCP can have some visuals, they are different than the often colorful and complex visuals seen on Mescaline. Dosages for PCP are MUCH smaller than those for Mescaline. An average oral dose of PCP is somewhere in the range of 5-10 mg, while Mescaline is in the range of 200-300 mg. Though PCP can be taken orally, these days it is most commonly smoked, usually in combination with Cannabis (often joints dipped in liquid PCP).
