Q: Is there a easier way of preparing phalaris grass than extracting or using a wheat grass juicer?
A: Not really. Phalaris grass contains on average about 0.1% DMT (so 100mg/100g dried plant matter). Thus the methods employed are essential for reducing the quantity of material and concentrating it as much as possible. So unless you are willing to consume large amounts of the grass and risk extreme gastrointestinal disturbance/damage (not recommended), the more labor intensive method is still the best available option.
