Is 100 mg of salvia seeds enough to cause effects?
Q: Do you know if 100 mg of salvia seeds is enough to cause significant effects?

A: There are very few commercial sources for Salvia divinorum seeds. It is extremely rare for the plant to seed in the wild (only a few documented cases) and very uncommon even for cultivated plants. Unless you have an extremely impecable source, It's quite likely that whatever seeds you purchased in bulk are not actually S. divinorum. Only the species S. divinorum has psychoactive properties, Salvia species which are available from seed companies or garden stores are almost certaily not S. divinorum

I have heard reports of viable S. divinorum seeds selling for hundreds of dollars per seed. The seeds are quite small (see Seed Photo or Seed Photo) measuring less than 2 mm across, so 100 mg would be a relatively large number of seeds.

Because of their rarity, there is little to no research on the salvinorin content (or lack thereof) of the seeds. There is likewise no information on whether it is possible to smoke or eat S. divinorum seeds to achieve psychoactive effects.
