Can you taste LSD or identify it in any other way?

Does anyone know if it is possible to taste LSD?, i.e. A bottle of Sweet Breath that may have been dosed was found by one of my fellow security guards at a party and it made it's way around to me and I was wondering if there's anyway to tell without just taking some. |

LSD is active in doses of under 1/10 of a milligram. That small quantity of chemical is nearly tasteless and would be covered up by any other strong flavor. While LSD may have a strong taste in larger quantities, you would likely need to taste 10-100 doses or more at a time to be able to identify the flavor reliably. Many people say they can taste a slight metallic taste to blotter acid, but it would certainly not be strong enough to overcome the flavor of breath mint drops.
It is worth noting that most LSD dissolved in liquid in breath-mint containers is concentrated enough that a single "taste" can produce noticeable to strong effects. So using taste to try to identify whether a liquid is dosed with LSD is not a very good idea unless tripping for 8-16 hours would be an acceptable side effect.
If you have access to a U.V. light, LSD glows white under blacklight. This is probably the easiest methods for identifying LSD both in liquid form and on blotter.
