Is dipropylene glycol the same as 1,4 butanediol?
Q: Is dipropylene glycol the same as 1,4 butanediol?
A: No, they are not the same. Dipropylene glycol is a form of antifreeze. There is, however, a similar name "1,4-Butylene glycol" which IS the same as 1,4-butanediol.
