What is a "zanbar"?
Q: A friend has taken "zanbar". Obviously this is not the real name as I can find nothing about in it on the internet. They say it is a relaxer but what is it actually? Any clue as to it's real name?

A: As with most slang terms, it's difficult to know for sure, but it sounds like it could be short for "Xanax bar". Xanax (generic name Alprazolam) is a benzodiazepine which is used as a tranquilizer. Both Xanax and some generic alprazolam tablets come in little "bars" at the 2 mg dose. [ Example ]
