What is "point"?
Q: |
What substance does the slang term "point" refer to? One guy from Germany (I live in Lithuania) gave me a small colorless crystal about the same size as a match head (he told me it is called "point"), he also told me it should be swallowed. The whole experience was LSD-like, but much stronger and it lasted about 24 hours. I would like to find out what it was??? |

We have no idea what "point" is referring to.
A crystal the size of a small matchhead (.12 inch sphere) could weigh as little as 8-10 mg, A dense crystal the size of a large matchhead (.25 x .15 inch) could weigh as much as 50-60 mg.
The most common psychedelic substances that are long-lasting and active at extremely small doses include: DOB, which is more than active at 1-4 mg, with a threshhold well below one milligram and powerful at 2-4 mg. Ten milligrams is usually a massive overdose requiring police and hospitals. Effects last up to 24 hours.
DOM, DOM's dosages are higher (in the 3-10 mg range), with effects lasting more like 12-16 hours (rough approximation).
Another long lasting psychedelics is AMT with dosages at about 20-40 mg and duration of effects at around 10-14 hours.
It's important to note that there are also quite a few idiosyncratic reactions with common substances (LSD, MDMA) where people trip for periods of time that are longer than the typical duration. [LSD Example]
There is little way of knowing for certain what you took. Sorry we can't help more. |
