Can Caffeine be smoked?
Q: |
Could caffeine be smoked to achieve good or even better effect than oral use, and/or is there a form of caffeine that is meant for smoking? |

I'm not sure why you'd want to do this. Caffeine works fine orally, and smoking substances is something that should be avoided if there are safer ways to take them. Smoking anything can be harmful for your lungs.
Anyway... no form of caffeine is "meant" for smoking, and I don't think the effects would be "better" that way. I assume that you could probably smoke caffeine or caffeine-containing material such as tea leaves or coffee beans, but we've never heard reports of this method of use.
It seems like the primary reason one would consider this would be to increase the speed of onset. We have heard of people snorting pure caffeine powder for the same reason with some success, but the danger of overdose with insufflated caffeine is significantly greater than with oral use...so this is not recommended.
