Have you heard of ice (freebase MDMA)?
Q: Have you heard of ice (freebase MDMA)? I hear it's big in hawaii... do you make it the same way you make smokeable cocaine?
A: 'Ice' generally refers to freebase methamphetamine. People do make freebase MDMA but the reports we've heard suggest it's "a waste of good MDMA"....though obviously reactions are going to vary person to person. Effects should come on faster, duration would be shorter, and it's likely to be somewhat 'speedier'.



Turning almost any salt into a freebase requires a similar procedure, so yes, it would be made with a similar process to smokeable cocaine. One chemist suggested that because the levels of MDMA in you blood would reach a higher peak more quickly when smoked, the possibilities of neurotoxicity might be increased. Be careful, there's been little to no research in this area.
