I got sold bunk MDMA (ecstasy), what was it?
Q: I recently purchased what I thought was Ecstacy. After taking them and not achieving much of an affect, I'd like to investigate what exactly they are. I've had "good" X before and this certainly wasn't. The pills were oval-shaped tablets, light blue in color, with ETHEX imprinted on one side and 213 on the other. Any help you may have is greatly appreciated.
A: You were most likely sold some over-the-counter drug, probably a stimulant like ephedrine or caffeine (or some kind of cold medicine with such ingredients). Ethex is a pharmaceutical company which produces a range of products. They have a web site at http://www.ethex.com which lists their products, but unfortunately they don't provide images or descriptions.
