4-Acetoxy-DiPT and 4-HO-DiPT are both uncontrolled substances in the U.S. as well as in most if not all other countries. It could conceivably be covered under the U.S. Analogue Act depending on how it's sold, but there have been no cases brought to trial that we are aware of. (1/Nov/2004)

There are pending cases (beginning July 2004) in which vendors selling 4-Acetoxy-DIPT and other psychoactive chemicals to the general public are being prosecuted. It is important to note, however, that there have been no convictions in these cases and so there is no further clarification of the legal status of 4-Acetoxy-DIPT at this time.
