Being an avid lover of dissociatives, MXE in particular, I found this disappointing as I had been looking forward to the profound experiences I almost always had on the stuff. So yeah, friend mentions he still has some MXP and I get a point from him and put it in a capsule and took it around 14:00 after a meal.
t+0:00 - Ingested 100mg 2-MeO-Diphenidine
t+0:30 - Noticing some minor looseness, feel off baseline but not particularly high by any means
t+1:30 - Getting up from my desk, I feel a pretty definite clean dissociation, some minor euphoria and floatiness. Very background and not in your face. If I focus it becomes more apparent. Seems very malleable compared to MXE. Decide if it doesn't get any more intense by t+2:00 I will smoke some cannabis and see how that affects the experience.
t+2:00 - Take a nice hit of Lemon Haze.
t+2:15 - Dissociative sensations much more pronounced. Closing my eyes makes me feel as though I'm gone completely. I find the space quiet and mild in the visual department. Feels similar to MXE but less inebriating and confusing. Very relaxed but bubbly and optimistic. Like it so far.
t+3:00 - I lay down for a bit as it is getting difficult to concentrate. Relaxing with my eyes closed causes my body to drift about in a similar fashion to other dissociatives. The speed of the drifting seemed quicker than MXE, but this is purely subjective so who knows. Feel like I could have gotten farther down if I had focused but I had to start cooking soon so I decided against it.
t+3:30 - Cooking fried rice has never seemed so daunting. I know exactly what I must do, but I don't feel like I am in control enough to do it, I put off cooking with an open flame for a bit longer by doing some dishes, I am surprisingly in control so when I feel more confident in my ability I make some food.
t+4:00 - I eat a meal with my girlfriend and watch some tv. Effects still present but waning, still feel out of it and have some trouble following the show, by the end of it I am feeling even more together.
t+5:00 - Take a shower. Mild effects still noted, but approaching afterglow territory quickly.
t+6:00 - Urine response and sexual function slightly impaired still, sex is still possible but not enhanced. Baseline by this point, aside from afterglow good vibes and whatnot.
t+6:45 - Smoke a little bit more on my way to a comedy show, some wobbliness returns but is reserved and outshown by the marijuana.
t+10:00 - Sleep is accomplished with little effort, wake up for work 6 hours later feeling fine, if a bit elated still.
Overall, this substance is enjoyable and may be capable of more at higher doses, but being a fairly new substance I would exercise caution about using it in high doses. Reduced potency means more room for complications and the substance seems very mild overall, so pushing it might be asking for trouble. Otherwise a nice addition to the dissociative repertoire.
Notes:
Duration 4-6 hours, some afterglow noticed
When paired with cannabis it becomes much more interesting
On its own it may be too mild for some who are used to dissociatives completely fucking them up.
Would do again
Safe travels all
