I have 'lost the magic', and I am beyond hurt that this has happened.

I am a veteran user of MDMA. My history with the substance began at the age of nineteen. Within, a year I consumed more than 100 pills and countless grams of pure MDMA. During the peak of my use, I would have to consume at least four pills, to obtain the experience I knew from my first few times.

I ceased use after an unpleasant MDMA overdose , resulting in projectile vomitting, blackouts and what I am told uncontrolled anger. However, I only remember the vomitting and pleasant effects.

It has now been ten years, since my last dose of MDMA. I obtained one gram of MDMA. Reagent test went straight purple and immediately to black. The product I had was MDMA.

I dosed 120mg initially, in a home setting, with all the party essentials; music, vibe, glow sticks, vapor rub, etc. I was beyond prepared to make this a great experience. I felt for a period of two minutes, tingling similar to the onset of the come up; however, this two minute experience was over 1.5 hours after my first dose. I then followed up with an 80mg dose. Nothing further took place.

I have lost the magic! I take no medication that would interact with MDMA. I began researching the next day. I stumbled upon the serotonin syndrome. You guessed it. I have all the symptoms. For close to a decade, I had anxiety, tremors, obsessions, irritability and so forth. At this point, I am happy to know why I am not like most people.
