I have suffered with severe pain from chronic pleurisy and chronic migraines for over half my life. In January of this year, my Dr stopped prescribing all controlled substances so I lost my fioricet with codeine and hydrocodone and due to my lack of insurance, have been unable to find a new Dr. A friend of mine has a script for Neurontin and gave me a few to see if it would help me with my pain.

I was sceptical at first but thought, sure why not, maybe it'll help. So around 4:00 pm I just took a half of an 800mg, to make sure I didn't have any adverse reaction to it. An hour later I felt fine, so I took the other half. Mind you, I ate dinner before taking anything.

Around six, I started feeling a lil buzz, relaxed and just generally feeling good. The pain in my chest wasn't gone, but definitely dulled the sharp pains I was having earlier in the day. After consulting with my friend, I decided to take another 800mg about 6:30pm. Right now it is 8:00pm and I feel great. No pain, I feel energetic but totally relaxed at the same time. Feel like taking my son for a walk.
