I was prescribed Clonazepam at 19 for sever anxiety, by the time I was 21 (2010) I was feeling withdrawal from the Clonazepam even while taking it. I could ingest 16mg (8 tablets of 2mg) and feel nothing. By this time I couldn't go to college with my brother by my side. I started looking for some substance or drug (legal medications only) to help me and I stumbled upon Lyrica, a new 'wonder drug'. I read it had been approved in the European Union for anxiety disorders. I showed this to my psychiatrist and he prescribed 600mg of Pregabalin, with another 600mg to be taken as needed. I took all 1200mg together in the morning with an empty stomach.

T+1hr By now, the Pregabalin levels I ingested are peaking. I'm started to feel a rush, a nice physical sensation, like everything is soft and nice to touch. My skin feels kind of 'electric'.

T+2 I'm in bed seeing visuals, nothing great, I just took my glasses off to lay down in bed, and in the distance saw something moving, something transparent and small. I thought it was a spider but when I get closer I discover there was nothing. This was my only visual hallucination, lasted a few minutes and I was aware it wasn't real at all, it was irrelevant.

T+3 I'm also starting to feel manic. I feel VERY prosocial and invincible. There's nothing to fear out there. Anyway, I'm not irrational and won't do anything stupid, I will only enjoy this feeling and be productive.

T+4 I don't feel physically 'drunk', there's no ataxia or speech problems for me. There are no visual; I can work and think almost normally.

T+5 The prosocial and anxiolytic effects are not gone, and won't disappear until I go to bed later tonight. I can think more clearly, but still feel nice physical effects and zero anxiety.

T+12 Lyrica lasts only 12 hours in average in the body, but its effects it causes in the brain can persist after the drug is gone. It's late and I don't want to sleep; I put loud music and go to smoke outside.

T+16 I feel I could be awake all night, but I gotta sleep, so I do that. I can sleep like a drugged baby.

Next day: I just feel very calm and crave my next dose. Amazing drug.
