Avoiding the Purge
Ayahuasca (B. caapi & P. viridis)
Citation:   ClearLight. "Avoiding the Purge: An Experience with Ayahuasca (B. caapi & P. viridis) (exp104139)". Erowid.org. Feb 13, 2017. erowid.org/exp/104139

DOSE:
  oral Ayahuasca (tea)
      Psychotria viridis
      Banisteriopsis caapi

I prepare my extracts by adding a small amount (less than 1 teaspoon) of citric acid to warm water and pouring that over the Cappi and seperately the leaves. I apply heat not to exceed that which I can put my hand in comfortably. Let it soak overnight. Strain and imbibe.

It is more effective to take the B. caapi (or analogue) first and wait 20 minutes till the lights have a soft halo before taking the P. viridis. There is one instance in which nausea may arise. When the acupuncture meridians are activated and the energy flows begin, it may get stuck at the solar plexus. Dispersing the energy there by placing the finger tips of both hands on the centerline at the solar plexus and briskly whisking the energy to the sides will remove/reduce any nausea.

I have used this method with all the journeys i've prepared for people. No one has ever thrown up or purged. Have a safe voyage!
