DOSE:
38 mg oral Methoxetamine (powder / crystals)
BODY WEIGHT: 150 lb
Trip Report: [MXE]
Dosage: 38mg

Previous drug experience, in order; Alcohol, Marijuana, Psilocybin, 4-aco-dmt, MDMA

When I first received my product in the mail (1g), I tried a small dose of 20mg with minimal effects. Light body high accompanied by a fuzzy headspace, leaving me in a chipper mood where I often found myself smiling for no reason.

I called my best friend (“A”) a few days later as he was eager to try MXE as well and planned a trip for sundown. Initially, we had some trouble figuring out our setting because I mentioned to him that we might not want to move around that much. Nevertheless, we just said “fuck it” and decided we would just wander around on bikes and see where it took us.

My friend A has always been my favorite person to trip and often when I trip with other people I wish he was there. I never have to worry about him freaking out or anything and he is a good person to have conversations about deep topics with, so on the ride over I was excited to embark on another journey with him.

I arrive at his house around 8:30 p.m. and we immediately weigh out our doses. After separating 38mg each, we each took a swig of water into our mouths, then poured the powder in. The taste was awful and left us cringing. We then packed up all our stuff, grabbed a couple water bottles, and hopped on our bikes.

We rode down his driveway and crossed the street to a road which led to a cul-de-sac. On our way back down from the cul-de-sac the effects started to become apparent. This was around what I would estimate was 10 minutes after taking the MXE. A mentioned that he was feeling dizzy and as soon as he said that I felt it too. Riding the bikes was a strange experience because while our motor skills were affected, we somehow felt more balanced on the bikes. Having nowhere to really go, once we hit the street again we decided we would just turn back around and make another loop around the cul-de-sac. Midway back down the road, A wanted to test standing up. He got off his bike and was pretty wobbly. We slowly kept riding back up to the cul-de-sac, gazing at the multicolored sky and talking about some of our favorite topics.

About 30 minutes in we begin our ride back to his house and the effects are really starting to come on. I felt very lightheaded but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Body numbness was very noticeable.
Body numbness was very noticeable.
Our attempts at explaining theories we had about life and existence were futile as we had a very hard time explaining them, which happens often with us when we trip. We decided to head to his tennis court and hang out there.

After entering through the gate, we parked our bikes and tested out walking around. Our balance was off as our feet would occasionally cross over each other, but not too bad to where we would quickly catch ourselves. We noted our appreciation for the bikes and how our trip to the neighboring roads would have been impossible without them. We got back on the bikes and rode around the tennis court, explaining how it felt like we were drunk in a way. Riding around on the tennis court was surreal to me, it felt like the Spider-Man ride at Universal Studios. I would speed up and look at the top of the trees surrounding the court. The yellow-orange sunlight highlighted the branches and made them look like a piece of art. We did this for around 20 minutes, occasionally getting off our bikes to play with our walking again. I imagined how strange this would look from an outside perspective.

At one point in the tennis court there was a significant moment that happens to me sometimes when I trip.I will get a sudden surge of the euphoria and for some reason I will start to question if I am okay. Usually this feeling will linger and I will have to constantly stave it off and be careful about what I think about. With MXE it was way different. Once that feeling emerged I smiled and said “You’re fine dude” and it was gone for good. This impressed me both with how I have trained myself in psychedelic states and with the drug itself. At this point I made a phrase that I feel accurately describes MXE;

“Its like all the substances I’ve tried put together. If I think about and compare it to alcohol, I start feeling drunk. If I think about its similarities with mushrooms, it feels more like a trip.” This is how I will explain MXE to my friends from now on.

Eventually A gets a call from his brother but is too incoherent to understand him.

“What did he say?”

“I don’t know, I think he is coming up here. He says he has a surprise.”

His little brother ('J') shows up some time later and whips out three of the biggest joints I have ever seen. A and I both thank him and take one. At this point A later explained that he felt pretty useless in that his motor functions were way off and he held onto the tennis net for stability even though he could walk around well enough. I noticed that my heart was racing quite a bit and my forehead had a light layer of sweat on it, while the other two didn’t feel hot. We hang out there for another 10ish minutes with J until we decide to go inside because of the bugs and heat. The driveway is a hill, and although I felt like I’m pretty good on a bike, A and I take the first part of the hill very carefully until midway down the hill when we let ourselves go. This felt pretty magical as I zoomed down the hill staring at the stars.

We head down to the basement to a room where he has a wrestling mat, we trip here often and its my favorite place in the world. A’s dad is a hunter and has all kinds of trophy animals in there such as moose, a bear, cougar, etc., so it is a trippy place to hang out. Laying down is sounding very appealing at this point as we crash down onto the mat, this being around 10:30 if I had to guess. We turn some music on and this is where the real magic of MXE began.

I had heard that music on this drug was great, but I didn’t suspect what hit me when we started playing some edm. After one song in particular I get lost in my brain and realize I am having some pretty vivid closed eye visuals. I am seeing all kinds of things, from abstract shapes to geometric patterns to even what seemed to be unconscious memories of no real significance. It all melted into each other and smoothly transformed from one scene to the next. When the song ended we both turn and look at each other in awe.

“Was that as beautiful for you as it was for me?”

A explains that this was his first time having real CEV’s and we continue to lay with our eyes closed enjoying the bliss of our CEV and the beautiful music. This continued for what I would assume was two hours. At that point, we were both pretty wiped out and a bed never sounded so comfortable. I packed up all my stuff, gave A my graces for his presence and said goodbye.

MXE has become my new favorite drug. Even after returning home exhausted I could have gone for another bump of this wonderful chemical, although knowing the risk of its abuse I will not be using it again for a couple of weeks. I have read a lot about going into the M hole, and I am excited for when I can go there. My deepest desire is to be able to astral project; to leave my body and experience other dimensions and levels of consciousness. From what I have gathered about MXE, I will be arriving there soon.
