I take 50mg Vyvanse and 150mg Bupropion daily, and have had very limited experience with ephedrine.
Taken at ~12:05
12:25 - Felt the first effects, a noticeable change in heart rate and mood. The cars driving on the street seem louder, but that could just be placebo.
12:35 - A certain buzzing is present in my body, and my thoughts feel a bit faster. This doesn't quite have the mental clarity of amphetamine, but it does well as a substitute. It has a lot of similarities. Still feels like a clean stimulant - not as heavy on the body as I would have thought.
12:42 - Maybe time seems like it's slowing down, or I'm thinking a lot faster. But I am not certain. I think I am going to try another 25mg in addition because apparently it's kinda weak. But I might just stack the doses 30 minutes apart... I still need to remember I'm on vyvanse however, which will amplify the effects a little bit. 50mg of Vyvanse is equivalent to about 15mg amphetamine.
12:47 - Took an addition 25mg Ephedrine. I'll be on the look out for any additional bodily effects in this range. I think I'm gonna read a few more stories about ephedrine in the mean time, and then once it peaks, play some TF2 and monitor how my gameplay has changed. Yesterday, off everything, completely sober, I had a Kill:Death Ratio (KDR) of ~1.5, but counting assists would be approximately ~2.25.
12:55 - I am reading a lot about caffeine being combined with it. Makes me want to try it with Coke Zero (my favorite drink).
2:03 - Definitely increased performance. Higher accuracy, better KDR, placed 3rd on the server, but held 1st place for a long while. Good stuff. Lots of fun. My reaction time was definitely increased, as well as my accuracy and performance under pressure. But, all that considered, it didn't have quite the mental clarity that Amphetamine does.
~2-4:30pm - During this time, I proceeded to draw a picture. I couldn't help but notice that my hands were shaking, and my palms were sweaty. It felt like no amount of breathing technique could control the jitteriness of my arm. My body felt normal for the most part during this, though. Skin didn't feel any different, nor was sense of smell. Hearing was still heightened, as was focus.
5:30pm - I feel as though I am coming down quite a bit from where I was earlier. Hearing and focus are still somewhat improved, but mostly back to baseline. '
Overall Commentary:
There's no doubt this bears strong resemblance to the effects of both methamphetamine and amphetamine, but it's weaker than either. Amazing how a hydroxyl group at the beta-position of the carbon chain can do that, eh?
But there is still some level of equivalence between this and those, and they substitute for each other! I was off Vyvanse for approximately 2 days whenever I first tried this at the recommended dosage on the box, and in 30 minutes, my craving for amphetamine was gone

The other thing is that ephedrine is not going away any time soon. People with asthma and bronchitis rely on it too much, and the fact that it grows in wild grass throughout the Southwest makes it even harder to control.
