1st Acid Trip on 100mcg 1P-LSD

So ...I'm a happy healthy 54yo who has taken mushrooms a few times 30 odd years ago, used MDMA a few times, + ticking various other boxes in the I-SPY book of drugs... But not LSD.

I bought some liquid 1P-LSD from [ ] before the New Psychoactive Substances act came into force, and planned a trip in the garden with my grown up son, and a couple of his mates (who hadn't taken LSD before either).

Took it at 2pm.
- T+1 (3pm) some very mild visual enhancements, purple flowers looked vivid, etc.
- T+2 4pm visual enhancements of colour (mainly) picking up, quite strong 'but if we still feel like this in two hours, we're definitely taking some more'.
- T+2.5 (4.30) visual enhancement amazing. Everything we looked at looked incredible; patterns started moving. Took a shower, had the amazing feeling when washing my hair with eyes closed that the touch sensations were colour, at one point head totally exploded in colour and movement. Superb.

Some things very funny. Conversation fun, shared experience beautiful.

T+3 closing eyes turns all sound to colour. Gazing at anything and everything is wondrous.

T +3 - +10 - subtle changes all afternoon and evening, the experience was all equally strong, but never out of control. Visitors popped round in the afternoon was perfectly possible to have a conversation (helped a lot because they were friends, and experienced at using hallucinogens).

Sunset and nightfall, really beautiful, late night street-lit walk an amazing display of light contrast and colour.

T +12 went to bed, fell asleep to an amazing dancing symmetrical pattern of tiny balls dancing on a green background.

Woke up next day feeling great, slight headache cured by ibuprofen.

Best bits? Music as amazing visual patterns, lying on the lawn eyes closed watching the birdsong dance in my mind then feeling like I'd melted into the lawn/universe ;-)

This is a great drug: if you've no history of mental health problems, or current anxiety, and are in a safe place 100mcg is a sensible/excellent first dose: all the fun, no sense of loss of control. Next time will probably do 150mcg. Having someone not using around to keep an eye, offer food and drink, chat shit to is nice too.

TLDR; had a great time. Beautiful experience.
