As a 15 year old boy I am fully aware of the causes of sleep paralysis and how to get into a paralytic state however my body normally does this anyway as for me this is caused from when I sleep in the day and wake up late at night. Doing this makes me very awake at night and if I want to try go to sleep this is when sleep paralysis takes control of my body..
Once I have done this I know what I am in store for in the night as when I try falling asleep I feel sleep paralysis creeping up on me however I know I have no way of stopping this event from taking place so I must let it happen.
Finally once I feel myself lose contact with my body I try to stay calm and think positively as sleep paralysis can induce many hallucinations and fake sounds, I stop the hallucinations by closing my eyes firmly as I do not want to see what lies before my eyes.
I start to hear many voices as if they are rushing through my head like a thousand conversations I've had in the past at 100x the speed and suddenly they all stop.
After I hear a very deep low voice something out of a horror movie type, and I hear it speaking to me, I understand this is only my brain making this up however the mysterious thing was speaking to me and was calling me useless and pathetic, however I sort of felt a bit hysterical because I was thinking why my own self would be saying this, and suddenly even as my eyes were closed I saw a large clown face right in front of me zoom straight into me and as if it went through me. I felt quite scared after this because I started breathing heavily and suddenly everything started to get hectic with loud noises happening in the background.
I reminded myself I must stay calm during this situation and I started to control my breathing and try to twitch my fingers to get out of this freak show.
As I got out of it I felt very relived but still scared as I was questioning reality and if I was still in the state of paralysis or not, luckily I had my phone near me so I decided to note all the events that took place during the short space of time, and decided not to go back to sleep until I felt extremely tired which was a few hours after.
To this day I still get sleep paralysis as if I sleep in the day however now it is just very tedious and annoying.
