Weed Gabapentin NOPE
One day I took around 4 grams at once and I noticed increased sociability, euphoria, lightness, and maybe a slight tracer type thing. I did this a lot but every now and again I would take a dose around 8-12 grams for increased goodness; but although the 'goodness' increased, so did the tracers, dizziness, and/or lightheadedness. This was a side thing I did for a week or two every now and then, but I mainly smoke weed.
One day I had taken around 4 grams of Gabapentin and went to a friend's house, I stayed there most of the day and later my friend offered me a hit of the bong. I thought, I took some pills but these Gabapentin pills might mix well with weed like some opiates. I was very wrong. The amount of dizziness I experienced was overwhelming, I couldn't keep both of my eyes in the same place, everything was blurry and tingling but my head was killing me, I started feeling nauseous so I closed my eyes but that didn't help, I ended up puking for hours and passing out in my car outside of my friend's house.
At the time I had no idea what caused this so two days later I took about 6400-7200 mgs of Gabapentin and a bit later that day carried out my daily habit of smoking one or two bowls from my long pipe on the back porch. I smoke about half of a gram to a gram per bowl but since I pack it a bit I'll go with a gram per bowl. I smoked the first one completely, and at 22% thc that's about 220 mgs, but I have a very high tolerance so I felt the relaxation but I didn't feel much of a head high like I normally do so I cleaned my pipe out and packed a second bowl. About half way through the second one I started to get some visual distortions that were a bit odd and I got kind of stumbly so I stopped smoking and went inside. I got to my bedroom, plugged my phone up and put my headphones on, and when I looked at my phone everything was super blurry and streaky. It immediately made my head hurt and I went to try and focus harder and my eyes felt like they weren't even under my control, they were drooping and sagging and just swaying, not moving where I wanted them to go like the room was spinning. I ended up getting nauseous and throwing up for hours again before passing out in the bathroom floor.
I woke up the next day and did NOT take any Gabapentin, went through about half of the day so now it has been 14+ hours since the last Gabapentin dose, I didn't take any this next day, and I went outside on the porch, smoked two bowls and went inside, and never had a single problem.
These two substances do not mix! Together they make me so incredibly dizzy I threw up 100% of the time. I hate that I had to do it twice to realize where the problem was but I did it twice so you don't have to! Be safe and do your research guys, cheers.
