Plugging Heroin

It was Christmas time, and I was home. I hate my hometown, and after dealing with the stress appropriately (exercising, talking to friends, etc) I decided it was time to engage in some chemical relaxation. I picked up some very overpriced .25 grams of very high quality No. 4 from a friend, and snorted conservatively on Christmas Eve and day.

I'm going to put some of my safety/harm reduction techniques here:
1) Know my dose. I Assume plugging is as potent as IV, because it can be.
2) Use a clean dropper/syringe (STERILIZE IT!) I do not want to start shooting your old fermented fecal juice back into your gut. One can and will get sick.
3) Use fentanyl test strips, for the love of God, too many have died because they didn't. It won't test for all fentanyl forms/analogues but at least I have a better chance.
4) Don't mix it with other sedatives, alcohol, tranquilizers, benzos, etc. This route of administration can be more potent, which means it suppresses my breathing and heartbeat even more.
5) Do this somewhere private, like a bathroom. The more private the better, this is potentially more embarrassing to be walked in on than IV use.

This route of administration, while satisfactory, seemed to have me chasing a high I couldn't safely achieve. It was cold outside and my nose was stuffed on and off, and the absorption was unpredictable and inconsistent. After Christmas, I decided I would wait until New Years Eve to try it again. I also decided I would plug it.

On the last day of the year, I weighed out two 20-25 mg doses (my scale is iffy) and dissolved the first dose in warm water and sucked the solution into a dropper after clearing my bowels. I went to dinner with my girlfriend and family, leaving the dropper under the sink in the bathroom, and returned afterward to the bathroom to plug my smack.

I was quite nervous, having family around, but I successfully 'relaxed' enough to get the dropper all the way in. I squeezed the rubber plunger and lied back for a moment to allow the solution to sit. My girlfriend walked in as I was finishing up, which was quite awkward, but she wasn't terribly upset as I had explained that I would be doing this to her. I finished/cleaned up in front of her to encourage transparency in our relationship.

She wanted a ride home before I went to a bar with friends, so I gave her one. I know I should not drive intoxicated but I figured I had a good 20 minutes before I really started feeling this and she lives about 5 minutes away. Unfortunately, the combination of her wearing a preposterous number of layers that she had to put on, my mom wanting to write her a recipe, and the emptiness of my bowels meant that it started hitting me as soon as I left my house. It wasn't too strong, but it definitely wasn't safe. Don't make my mistake. Those roads were icy and driving was already dangerous enough.

Anyway, after (miraculously) making it home and coming down a bit, I went to the bar and had a very pleasant conversation with my very straight-edge friends. I felt this would be a good time to plug my second dose. Doing this in a public bathroom required a bit of ingenuity, but it was well worth it as the second shot hit better than the first.

The rest of the evening was enjoyable enough. I did have a rather bad mood after the smack wore off, but I believe it was due to stress in my personal life returning after being numbed away and not the heroin.

Anyway, plug safely and happy travels. As a side note, I have attempted to plug No. 3 (free base) heroin both in combination with an acid to make it soluble and on its own. These techniques have worked with mixed sucess, I prefer just finding No. 4 (heroin HCl salt).
