So I'm really impulsive. I got 600mg of pregabalin from a friend, and had a gram of DPH that I bought. I took 600mg of the pregabalin, intending to only take that. After about 3 hours (pregabalin takes a while to kick infor me), I started feeling really happy and my body felt completely relaxed and anxiety free. I also hallucinate a little on high doses, very faint translucent lines moving in the air and faint swirling on walls. I got a very strong impulse to want to hallucinate and trip. I opened a box of diphenhydramine and just kept taking more and more, until eventually landing at 750mg.

About 40-50 minutes after taking it, I started to trip. Weird masses of jerking translucent air was crawling all over my wardrobe, the carpet and anything I looked at for long enough. I found them to be very interesting and fun to look at. I had dinner with my dad and the body load kicked in. I kept missing my mouth as I was trying to eat and my voice had entirely changed. I knew I needed to get the hell away from my dad as it would be clear I was on something. Going back to my room I could barely walk, I was stumbling and hallucinating the jerking masses a lot. This is where things got very hazy and I passed into full delirium.

I don't remember going back to my room, but at some point I went to the bathroom. The toilet had masses of translucent lines going crazy and I thought it was very amusing. Everything in the bathroom was very dark, when I flushed the toilet it sounded incredibly loud and menacing, the same for the tap. I saw my phone on the sink and kept trying to pick it up, not realising it wasn't real until I eventually forgot what I was doing. I kept falling over and I couldn't see anything properly. I saw bright orange piss all over the toilet bowl (there was no piss on the toilet bowl) and thought damn I better clean that up with some toilet roll. In the morning I found out all I did was throw the toilet roll in the toilet. I tried to get out of the bathroom but I couldn't find the door handle, I was stuck in there for a while, possibly 20 minutes. When I finally got out, I immediately fell over again and hallucinated my dad standing behind me. I completely believed he was there and thought he must have heard me falling over and came down to check on me. I tried to go to my room but I was stumbling and confused. I opened my bedroom door and collapsed against my bed frame hard, my dad was still behind me. My last memory is of my dad sat on my desk chair staring at me. Though I don't remember it, I then must have taken my clothes off and gotten into bed, upon which I immediately fell asleep. I slept for 13 hours straight, no dreams. One second complete cerebral palsy, the next I'm awake in bed sober. This was my first time taking DPH.

In retrospect, at no point during the trip did I feel a negative emotion. I was very much enjoying the hallucinations of the translucent masses and there was no anxiety/paranoia or restlessness that is usually attributed to DPH due to the pregabalin. It's a good combo, just took way too much of both substances.

I discussed this OD with my doctor, she said both drugs act as respiratory depressants, that I could very easily have stopped breathing in my sleep. So I would strongly recommend to be careful with this combination. Since then I did 500mg DPH combined with 150mg pregabalin trip which went far better as I knew what to expect and what not to do whilst on it.
