Crazy Business Idea While on Focalin for the First Time

I am an experienced drug user. I prefer opioids or benzos but I also love the Gabapentin high. A friend had just gotten Focalin and I always wanted to try Ritalin or adderal so this was perfect. I’m also on Suboxone.

My fiancé ( now husband A) was over and I’d been doing a lot of Gabapentin and Suboxone together for awhile. I’m prescribed 24mgs. However this time I wanted to try just the Gabapentin and Focalin.

9:30 Pm I take 2-3 grams of Gabapentin. I can’t remember because I usually just took a shit ton. Then I remembered the Focalin I had stashed away, so I took 10mg XR to start. I had 20 more mg.

I’ve done coke but never prescription stimulants. I was excited. Coke can be extremely great or bunk but this was prescription uppers. I was so excited

I chewed the Gabapentin and the Focalin as best I could and then waited. Not even an hour later I’m extremely buzzed. I feel like I have no filter. I feel very awake yet also chill? I don’t know if the Gabapentin took away any of the negative side effects. I took another 10mg at this point.

10:30 I’m talking at a million miles a minute, and feeling extremely confident. A asked me why I was acting this way and I said I drank a lot of coffee and I was sorry because I knew he’d be upset. He doesn’t like me drinking coffee because it can make me anxious.

11:00 I decide to tell him my business idea. At the time I thought it was original. It was a spur of the moment idea. My business idea? Selling my dirty underwear and socks online. Again my filter was gone.

I proceeded to talk without any breaks about how great this could be for us. I asked him if he was okay with it, and he said it he was okay. However he did say there’s more to just selling your underwear online. You’ve got to talk to your customers. I’m flying so high and so euphoric. I tell him it’s an excellent idea since people will pay for used socks and underwear. I also say I’m up for talking to customers. I think at this point I’ve talked for an hour without breaks.

11:45 I want to to take more Focalin so I took the last 10mg plus 600 mg Gabapentin. This combination is definitely amazing. I lay out how I want to do it, and I’ve been talking about this for awhile. Suddenly I start to feel a bit restless. I ignored it but it just got worse. I didn’t want to give up this extreme euphoria and confidence but about 15 minutes later I just couldn’t handle the restlessness. I was upset because I’d taken all the Focalin my friend had given me and I also felt a bit depressed. I took 24 mg of Suboxone. I instantly felt more relaxed but I wished the euphoria could go on.

This whole thing just really embarrassed me. I’m not embarrassed about wanting to sell underwear, I’m just embarrassed because of the way I acted in front of A. A had at that point known me for 14 years. I had a feeling he knew it wasn’t just coffee. So I probably sounded speedy and A knows so well that I have to think he knew.

I did get more Focalin from my friend and did this combination a few more times. At this point I would space out the Gabapentin more. I can feel weird if I take too much and then take more later.

Overall great experience. I just hoped A didn’t feel like I was on legal speed and Gabapentin. He only asked once why I was acting so buzzed. Gabapentin with legal speed seems to take away the anxiety.
