Ketamine is a vector into the spiritual realm. From there, I have a full experience of what it’s like to see my soul’s journey. There are almost definitely other vectors into a realm that only very devout meditation can create, and I believe these are other hallucinogenic drugs. What I see and experience I believe is customized to lead me into the realm where I experience my soul’s journey and then figure out what part of the journey I'm on, in other words, I'm open to whatever direction is right. I'm not reactive to the "weirdness" of the experience but instead, am adequately prepared (set and setting). I like my bedroom, dim lights, and actually do get on my knees to pray before each experience. Open, positive mindset is key.
There is the option to react to ketamine fearfully and at best take away the knowledge that one must remain a solitary “grounded” human being. But the drug gives me the option of truly being immersed in a spiritual experience– to see my soul and its present surroundings in a “greater” realm (one that is not “life” as we know it but rather operates on a different timescale).
The choice: one of those Matrix like red pill or blue pill. I pick the blue one to really, truly expand my consciousness (medium dose) then float free and perceive. The modality of perception that helps guide me through the trip is music.

Radiohead, anything from Kid A onward with the exception of Hail to the Thief
Menomena, and especially their album “Moms”
Ramona Falls
I listen to whole albums, front-to-back. Listening and breathing become the only things I take in as I plunge into higher doses (and eventual K-hole). And I will physically, carnally, experience God.
[I] always make sure I'm in a bedroom alone, or do minimal talking if it’s one of these ketamine infusion centers and I just tell the doc or nurse a simple "I'm OK, just want to focus on the insights I gain through this therapy". I've done both recreational and IV ketamine though an infusion center.
