DOSE:
  oral Coleus (leaves)
    smoked Coleus (extract)
    oral Coleus (tea)
BODY WEIGHT: 145 lb
It all started a while back when I was scrolling online and I saw coleus listed, I was intrigued, so later when I was with my mom at a plant shop, I pointed to the coleus plant and asked to buy it. (she obliged as it is a very pretty decorative plant)

Not three days later I told my friend about the plant that I had gotten, and we planned to have a sleepover and quid some leaves that night. We both quidded eight leaves, and felt little to no effects other than mild relaxation. Our dreams were incredibly interesting as they always are on coleus.

I have since tried smoking dried coleus: not incredibly effective but definitely has a slight headspace change with color enhancement, and I haven't tried smoking it before bed so I'm not sure about it's dream effects. Not worth the harsh smoke in my opinion, onsets almost instantly and lasts for 2-3 hours

Smoking coleus extract: put 15 coleus leaves in a blender along with some water and about a tablespoon of lemon juice, then boiled down the mixture until it looks like a brown clay-ish substance, and then dried with a hair dryer until it looks like beef jerky, not a large yield at all, so a little goes a long way. Smoking the extract gives me a heady buzz with slight blurry/fuzzy visual changes, not as noticeable as weed, but definitely a fun thing to smoke before going out and about.

Quidding coleus: my least favorite way to ingest coleus, it's effects are never worth the painstaking action of quidding the leaves.

Tea: tea and smoking extract are my favorite ways to take coleus, although they have very different effects. I use 10-20 leaves and put them in a tea strainer, and leave the tea strainer in a mug full of boiling water for a few minutes. The tea tastes good enough that I would drink it even without it's psychoactive effects. The tea makes music sound far better, gives me pleasant sedation, makes colors brighter, foods taste much better, although it doesn't increase my appetite. I experience more vivid dreams after drinking tea as well. After drinking coleus tea, it takes about 20-30 minutes to onset, and about 2 hours to be back to baseline. I like to cover pickles with mustard and eat them [gross when sober] and play videogames while on coleus tea.

Lemon tek: I recently put 15 coleus leaves in lemon juice and water and blended them up and drank it [absolutely gross to drink] and felt little effects after drinking it other than very slight almost placebo ego fading while playing videogames.

Other information: I am almost always able to feign being sober while on coleus in any form, although extract would probably be the hardest. I certainly believe that coleus extract has a reverse tolerance as most of my friends are unable to achieve noticeable effects their first time using coleus. My plant is red and green with medium sized leaves. I wanted to post this to let people like my younger self have more information available to them on how to harness the effects of this lovely plant. A coleus high is a nice place for me to shelter from this hard world, I typically do not use this plant more than once or twice a month, but I'd like to experiment with using it more often to see if the reverse tolerance would allow me to take less to get high. Ultimately this plant is a great deal of fun, and I highly recommend trying it to anyone. I will say, that if it doesn't work the first time to try it again 2 or 3 times, as sometimes it takes a couple tries to get effects.
