Intro:
Going into the experiment I brough a wealth of psychadelic experience and perhaps too much experience with DXM. I had previously had access to pure DXM powder and consumed said substance on a pretty regular basis. Unable to find more I began my research into the available NMDA antagonists on the market and came accross Diphenidine.

Trial 1:
Dosed 100mg via oral gel cap and decided to lay down whilst awaiting the effects. Ended up dozing off for about 2-3 hours. I was awakened by the stimulation of the substance but otherwise felt mostly sober with some mild dissociation and loss of coordination. I did notice a buzzing sensation.

I did have dinner before setting out on this experience and this may have drawn out absorption enough to diminish the effects.

Decided to try insuflating some to boost the dissociation. I separated 50mg into two separate lines and snorted one. Mildly uncomfortable on the sinuses initially and went to have a smoke. At this point it's about 3am and the limited lighting of the outdoors appears to have a stark contrast between light and dark, almost monochromatic. I lost some time and noticed that the smoke seemed to go by rather rapidly. Came inside and blew my nose a few times before sitting down.

At this point I kind of froze in thoughtlessness. My body simultaneously felt enormous and very tiny. As if my perception filled the room through a tiny pin prick. I had the thought that my body felt like 100 pounds which although not far from the truth mostly was an awareness that I could feel the full weight of my body. After this I started a movie as the effects wore off. Rather short lived altogether. Quite different from DXM.

The next day I had pretty serious sinus headache and congestion. No side effects to report other than those associated with insuflation. Won't be doing that again.

Trial 2:
Weighed out two gel caps of about 100mg each. I took the first and awaited the effects. I had eaten less than the previous night in hopes that things would come on quicker. As I waited patiently I went about doing some artwork and playing guitar. As things progressed I did begin to feel a sense of calm and relaxation settling over me.

At about the 2 hour mark I decided I was feeling all that I was going to and decided to take the second capsule.

It's hard for me to recall the progression afterwards until the point when I reach my peak. I thought I was dead and having moved on to the after life time was endless. I took my time as I went about the house having forgotten any and all urgency. I quite enjoyed this aspect of ease and it came as a relief to know that I no longer had to worry about things. That I might do as I please taking all the time I feel I need.

After smoking a cigarette I put on some very zen music to enjoy and that I did.

Later in the evening I found myself mourning the loss of my grandfather (2 years prior). I struggled to remember his face or the last time that I saw him in person. The thought brought me to tears.

When the time came I lay down to sleep and was disappointed to awaken to having slept through most of the day. With DXM I'm able to enjoy a night's trip and awaken with little or no sleep and continue about my day energized. If anything I would expect Diphenidine to be far less energizing and therefore less productive as I have used DXM as a means of encouraging my creativity and productivity. Hoping to find a productive means with which to apply this substance.

Trial 3:
Dosed 1 capsule at 150mg. Effects seemed minimal and went to bed after 2-3 hours. Awoke about 3 hours later feeling moderately dissociated and began my day energized. This compound may prove useful yet.
