I have experimented with raw opium as a teen and with Alprazolam on several occasions in the past so I am no stranger to either drugs.

I have been prescribed Tramadol to help me cope with a nasty lower back hernia that before hospital admission had been putting pressure on the nerves going from my spine to my left leg, causing my muscles to tense up, paralyze my left leg and send shock waves of intense pain throughout my body.

Because I am young, the doctors decided to not remove the hernia as this would leave permanent damage that will get worse as I age and instead opted to chemically burn the affected nerves with a series of injections, this would eliminate the worst of the pain but the trade off is that nerves would grow back and so I had to continue taking tramadol to manage the pain and come back to get them chemically melted again once every 6 months as for the Xanax, I got my hands on it from a fella I used to know. I tried it out and didn't like the effects, all it did was make me overly emotional, blur my speech and wipe my memory clean. In fact, after several nasty experiences where I ended up making phone calls I shouldn't have under the influence, it scared me enough to not mess with it again.

On Saturday 21/08/2021 I was having a particularly bad day due to family issues and I happened to have the Xanax and Tramadol at hand, I was soaking up the sun on a bench outdoors and decided to knock myself out. I was in a bad state of mind, a combination of anger an anxiety.

At 12:05 PM I took my tramadol, 100mg extended release tablet on an empty stomach. I could feel the tramadol starting to kick in about 50 minutes later and my mood improved, but other than giving me a better mood it didn't do anything special, no side effects, no respiratory depression, no slurred speech, nothing like that, I am very well acquainted with this drug so I popped 1 pill of Xanax 1mg.

It is at this moment that time had lost meaning. I remember looking at my watch and it was already 3PM. I did not feel high or as if my state of mind had been altered in any way other than not feeling like crap anymore and confused as to where did 3 hours suddenly disappear to,
I did not feel high or as if my state of mind had been altered in any way other than not feeling like crap anymore and confused as to where did 3 hours suddenly disappear to,
but I felt like I was coming out of it, the tramadol was wearing off, the Xanax effects were long gone. Or so I thought, my bad mood was coming back because I remembered I had to return home and deal with family issues and I didn't want to do that yet, I wasn't finished cooling off, so I popped a second Xanax.

I decided to check my watch and by now it was 4:15 PM. Confused as to where the hell another hour magically went off to, I decided I've been sitting on this bench long enough and it's time to get home, I felt normal, sober.

On the way home I began to feel very sleepy and walking became a shore. My goal changed from getting home to finding the nearest bench where I could wait the drugs to wear off and luckily I knew there happened to be a bench near the route I was taking so I adjusted course, made it to the bench and went to sit down. The sleepiness effect became overwhelming so I laid down on the bench and shifted in and out of it.

I do not know how long I have been laying there, or even how I got home, but I woke up in my bed at 12 noon on a Sunday and I was partially shaven. Apparently my brain under the Tramadol + Xanax combination decided that I needed to shave upon arriving home and did a poor job of it. Also, it's worth noting that the transition from 4:15PM Saturday to 12 PM Sunday felt instantaneous. I have no recollection of any events that occurred during that time. I blink and boom I jumped one day into the future.
