4 hours prior to the incident, I had smoked some marijuana. I was medium-level high and it lasted those 4 hours. By then, I wanted to take another hit.
It was nighttime and dark when my boyfriend and I went outside to hit his bong. He had just purchased new weed from the dispensary. He asked for "mild stuff" but we didn't check the percentage of THC. My bong at home was a little smaller (also a smaller bowl) and it was dark outside so when I went to take a hit, I must have taken too much.
Sometimes when I inhale marijuana smoke too quickly, I get the "spins" where I get dizzy and it's a little bit painful. After I took a hit, I got the spins worse than I ever had before.

When I woke up, I was still very high but completely calm. I couldn't walk very well so my boyfriend had to help me. At the hospital, they did a CT scan, blood work, and an EKG. Everything came back normal except that I had mildly low potassium-- but that was certainly not the source of what happened. They said that it happens sometimes with weed (or any psychoactive drug) because the blood rushes too quickly and causes fainting/convulsion. However, I had never heard of that nor had anyone else I talked to about it. Not even my psychoactive drugs professor at my university had ever heard of that happening.
