I went to stay at a friends house to record some music, lets call this friend Julian. We recorded a couple songs and hung out for a bit and he then let me know he had some THC-infused chocolate paste that contained around 500-600mg of THC in it all up. He asks if I want to halve it and I'm going through a shit time in life at the moment and making dumb decisions so I was like fuck it. So we eat half of the paste each (250-300mg of THC each). I knew this was a high dose but I didnt know how stupidly high of a dose it was especially for me, someone who is prone to extreme panic attacks caused by being too high.
We were watching the new season of Stranger Things for about 30 minutes after eating the chocolate paste, and realised this probably wont be the best vibe for our high as we both realised it's going to be intense. We then decided to put on Frozen, easily the best decision we made all night. We both loved that movie when we were younger and knew every word of every song. Sounds silly but honestly it's a great film. We lay there in bed watching Frozen on the tv with the lights out, belting all the songs harmoniously as a duet. It was great fun and I could feel the edibles start to kick in.
About 25 minutes into Frozen I felt good but could feel some paranoia creeping in. I told myself I am fine and I just need to stay as part of the present and enjoy this movie. 25 minutes after that. WOOSH. The most intense high I have ever felt in my life hit me like a tonne of bricks. It felt like I was in the middle of a blizzard and had to hold on for dear life. I have had many experiences with harder drugs such as LSD, Mushrooms, MDMA, oxycodone, xanax, klonopin, heroin, DXM, spice etc.. And this was easily the most intense high I have ever felt. Not visually, although there were very apparent open eye visuals, everything was warping and breathing but violently.
We got to the end of Frozen which was approx 90min after dosing and I began to seriously freak out, I kept it in quite well though, I just turned to Julian every 5 minutes and said "bro, this is fucked" I then searched through the house with Julian for some doxylamine, or something that could possibly knock me out. All we could find was promethazine so I took 50mg and went to bed, closed my eyes and just prayed that I would fall asleep soon. As I knew this high would continue to get more and more intense for the next hour or so and then plateau in that state for a longgg time. As we lay in silence Julian kept ripping the loudest farts I've ever heard that would scare the living shit out of me. Eventually I managed to drift off. Waking up about 12 hours later, laughing about how high I was. So grateful it was over.
Truly the scariest experience of my entire life and if I ever touch edibles again I will be starting with 5mg for sure, not 250.
