27.5 ug | sublingual | 1V-LSD | (blotter / tab) |
BODY WEIGHT: | 185 lb |
My younger brother and I each did 37.5 mcg of 1V-LSD.
Background: Psychonaut. Employed in the mental health field. Crypto, DeFi, and dubstep enthusiast. Previous extensive experience with and deep respect for multiple psychedelics including Mushrooms, San Pedro, Ayahuasca, Pharmahuasca, DMT, and ALD-52. Strong believer in the psychedelic renaissance, spiritual reawakening, self-awareness, and self-healing through psychedelics.
My younger brother had used mushrooms, San Pedro, and ALD-52, though to a far lesser extent than I.
This was our first time taking 1V-LSD.
My brother and I ultimately decided to start small with a quarter tab of a standard 150 mcg botter of 1V-LSD, roughly equivalent to 37.5 mcg. I had read a lot about its potential effects and entheogenic qualities that set it apart in a good way from other LSD analogs.
The two days leading up to this microdose were two of the hardest work days of my mental health career thus far. I was very much looking forward to the microdose with the intention of enjoying the time off and getting to know Valerie for the first time.
We met at my condo and took our dose at around 9 AM. I had dropped off my daughter at her grandmother's for the day, and my wife was away that morning at a conference. She knew about and was supportive of my journey.
It was the perfect day for a bike ride, which is what my brother and I had planned for ourselves. After taking the dose we quickly gathered snacks and water for the ride and biked out to the nearby nature trail. As we were riding, the first thing I noticed was that the 1V-LSD blotter paper was completely tasteless as it danced under and above my tongue.
Suddenly, my brain was hit with uncertainty because I realized that with all my previous experiences with ALD-52 there was always a slight taste which was how I knew it would be psychoactive.
1V-LSD on the other hand had no taste whatsoever (just paper), which both excited me because true LSD is tasteless but also brought about some common anxieties to my mind: What if the source was a scam, what if I didn't take enough, should we go back and get more?
I voiced my concerns to my brother, who encouraged me to chill and run with the vibe. Wise words from youth. We were out biking through nature after all, and it was a beautiful late-summer/early-fall day. I relaxed, reassured myself, and started to enjoy the experience for what it was, focusing on opening myself to the influence of Valerie.
Not long after, perhaps only 20 to 30 minutes after dropping the microdose, I turned and looked at a pond as we were biking by. It struck me how brilliant and playful the sunshine was as it danced across the water and through the plant life. With this appreciation, I suddenly felt my being become one with the water. I became an observer as my entire mind turned into a colorful liquid, sloshing around in space for a few moments before condensing together and exploding out into a colorful array of fractals. This entire visual experience lasted no more than 10 seconds.
I figured it was either my imagination, or subtle effects starting to creep in. This sort of thing had happened to me before (noticing slight effects sooner than others), and I think the more you connect with these substances and therefore yourself then the easier you can start to recognize their presence, even at small doses.
I turned to my brother and explained what had happened. He said he didn't feel anything yet, so I shrugged it off, appreciating it for what it was, and continued forward.
It wasn't until about an hour into the bike ride that we decided to take a short stop to rest. Here is where we both realized and recognized the presence of Valerie. I felt happier, more energetic, and integrally connected with the nature all around me. Each breath was rich with the smells of the forest and filled my body with the love and connection that was all around me. There was a sense of everything vibrating to a small degree, like I had side-stepped into a world whose gravity and air pressure was somehow slightly stronger and recognizably alive. A common feeling for me with psychedelics.
From then on, it was so easy to continue to connect with and talk with my younger brother as we rode on. We were both in a flow state, enjoying every moment, having serious conversations and having light-hearted ones, cracking jokes and laughing frequently.
Not long after our short rest, we came across a larger pond and spotted a crane in the middle of it. We were struck by how majestic that crane was, standing on a log in the middle of the pond, unmoving, like it was the king or queen of the entire pond.
After going 10 miles out and having conversations about mental health, life, work, psychedelics, and everything in-between, we made our way back to the condo. We rode for 20 miles total.
Once back home I collapsed on the couch to rest, still enjoying the flow and clear presence of Lucy herself at this point. I felt her the rest of the day and even through to the next morning to some degree. Positive energy, happiness, flow, a sense of presence.
I remember being astonished by the clarity of the experience, the lack of body load, and lack of associated brain-fog. I had always thought highly of ALD-52, but it seemed pale now in comparison to Valerie, as though ALD-52 was just a vessel to break down before getting to LSD, and I realized how clouded ALD-52 had made my head in the past.
1V-LSD was not like that at all. It was completely clear-headed, completely entheogenic all on its own with the added beauty of revealing the lovely lady Lucy underneath.
I feel it is so important that I will say it again: 1V-LSD is a true entheogen.
I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and am excited to connect further with Valerie using a higher dose when gifted with the chance in the future.
