My Average Experience

After one and a half years and over two hundred pills of use and abuse, I have finally decided to write a report on Ritalin. Apologies for any mistakes in advance, as English is not my native language.

I met this pill in april 2021 when I suggested it could help me and my psychiatrist agreed. While I am diagnosed with ADHD, at the time I simply wanted to get high. My main goal was to abuse it, I had heard that you can snort them. She got me a prescription of it, and that's exactly what I did the moment I got 'em. I went to my room, crushed it, and snorted it.

Immediately, I was met with a very distinct burning feeling and what I can only explain as the smell of the talc in the pill. It stung and I felt a bit of the powder go through my nose into my throat.

I went and started playing a game after this, not really knowing anything but to wait for it to kick in. And then.. BAM. It hit me. I remember feeling in awe. I was like "whoa... my life is wonderful." everything was a lot more fun than before. Much more fun, satisfying, intriguing. I also got a lot more confident. Everything was great.

This is basically a brief description of what the first hour of the drug feels like. I feel wonderful. I'm funny, intelligent, confident, I roll the window down like I'm in a music clip, I feel life flow through me.

But only for an hour. Now comes the crappy part...

You see, I'm not sure why, but Ritalin seems to only have a single hour where it makes me feel good.
Ritalin seems to only have a single hour where it makes me feel good.
The rest is crap and more crap. I stop feeling euphoric, instead becoming irritable, restless, angry, anxious, jittery, I cannot eat during this phase because I have no appetite. It sucks. This lasts for an hour or two.

Then comes the comedown, noticed when I suddenly feel the opposite of the start; I feel depressed, worthless, I still cannot eat but now I wanna lay down and let it pass. This one is the worst. I may also have migraines and heart palpitations. Usually I take a sedative and lay down at this point.

After I've paid my debt to the stimulant, I come back to baseline. I think it's worth it, but it's quite straining on the body and mind
