I've been reading the trip reports online and a large majority of them seem to be negative. I've never before engaged in psychedelics, just trying MJ on and off for about 5 years. Recently I purchased 1 gram of the 5x Extract online and I could not be happier. Let me tell you about my journies.
My roomate had left for the weekend which meant I had the whole room by myself. On the first night I made a homemade water bong out of a water bottle (pretty ghetto). I put in a small amount of Salvia, pure guestimate but not too much and then lighted it with a regular lighter and inhaled... and inhaled... and inhaled... and held the smoke in for as long as I could, and then I was there. I lose all touch with reality and believe that this world I am in is my own. So many colors are in the room, beautiful, glowing colors, and there are people, little people, little tiny people and they are doing their jobs. It's as if the room and the colors are seperated and the room is constructing itself in the form of a circle and when it gets back to me I am back in reality. The trip is much longer and much more intense than the description above, frankly, I don't believe any description can do Salvia justice. When I am done with the trip, semi-awake, semi-dreamy, I reflect on the trip and think about what just happened. I realize that I went into my mind and came back out, the little people I saw were in my mind doing things and I viewed them.
It was a very beautiful journey and I am not fearful of Salvia, I have respect for it. My friend lent me a Shamanism book and as I was flipping through the pages I saw a paragraph on spirits. In the days when the natives tried to find spirits by journeying into the woods for days, the spirits would be great, helpful, wise, when the seeker is in that mindset; however, when the seeker is fearful of what he does not know (the spirits) they are evil, and frightening.
