Well gee-wiz, I finally got around to trying a serious opiate. As a psychonaut I prefer the psychedelics, however I like to try new drugs at least once. I had never tried heavy opiates before, although I did codiene once with a very mild effect. I had scored a 60 mg. morphine pill off a dude who had oral surgery. I had saved it for a few months till I felt the time was right.

Well, one boring night, I was sittin' around drinking beer. I suddenly thought: ah, the morphine pill-why not? I dropped it at about 10 pm. By 11, I definitely felt a warm glow, distinct from the beer. It was somewhat relaxing, like valium, but not as deppressant-like. Soon, I simply fell asleep.

The next day, however, the effect remained, and I awoke feeling fuzzy and very nauseous. It was very similar to nutmeg. By noon, I made it to work where I sand furniture. After about 30 minutes,I was overcome by nausea and I went outside and barfed. The dreamy, narcotic effect was still present. The dreamy, fuzzy feeling was kind of neat but I did feel extremely puky- especially when doing anything physical (I'm in excellent shape I might add). I puked again, then left work for home.

When I got home, I felt very tired and went right to bed and slept till 7:30 pm. At about 8 pm. the effects seemed to be gone, and I was ravenous. I felt much better and I ate dinner and drank alot of fluids. The bottom line? I'll probably never fuck with opiates again. I might try oxycontin sometime for comparison's sake. As for morphine, I'll pass- not a groovy high.
