So the sun sets outside, the house is now vacated. It's time for another smoke. I push the cigarette to my lips, and light. I suck in the pleasure, the relaxation, the chains of adiction. It started when I was 13, stealing a cigarette from my mom. Smoking it behind my school, bringing a light headed feeling, followed by a overall calming sensation.

I've always been pretty good about addiction, keeping off a drug when I know I've been using it to much. I've done my share of pot, pcp, dex, but I've never been so drawn into a drug, especially when the effects of it are so minimal.

Tobacco is my enemy and friend. I don't want to quit, but I don't want to die. When I find myself thinking about it, it's normally when I'm smoking. My life is a paradox. But that's tobacco, I don't really want it, it wants me. I'm not saying not to try smoking, I'm just saying know what your getting into.
