When doing nitrous I find it beneficial to go the extra mile and purchase high quality nitrous. If one doesn't mind a nasty metallic taste or oils on one's mouth then one can go right ahead with the EzWhips. I like to sit in a dark room with some music playing and some sort of image program running on my computer.

Nitrous has an effect on sound so it is nice to really turn up the music. I start by clearing my mind and breathing deeply. I will crack one canister and once it is empty I will put another can in the cracker but not open it. Breathing deeply still I exhale the contents of my lungs and gradually take in the first can. Once it is empty I hold my breath for a second and begin exhaling very slowly, while exhaling I crack the second can and empty it. I place a third can in the cracker and begin to draw the gas from the second can through my mouth but all the while I pull a small stream of O2 in through my nose. Holding my breath I crack the 3 let it empty and repeat. After 4 I cannot move. Sound changes, depth perception is skewed making things seem distant. Usually a ringing becomes present in my ears, an almost sonic pulsating noise that passes over my mind. When this happens the way I perceive objects warps and I will sometimes black out. When I black out its like everything is shutting down but I don't care. I feel myself losing consciousness, when I teeter on that brink it is intense. I process information under a different mindset completely. I like to explore these areas of consciousness to see what knowledge I can bring back to my present mind.

Nitrous is a perfect buddy for mushrooms and acid. The effect of combining them is amazing, upping the intensity 10 fold for a short while. Another neat trick I picked up in Vermont is to clear bongs with the nitrous cracker, by putting the nozzle up to female portion of a bong once you remove the slide. That is the perfect marriage of cannabis and nitrous.
