Be Careful in Amsterdam

I'd had mushrooms once before and loved the experience, we'd just arrived in Amsterdam and knew they sold mushrooms in special stores throughout the city. We bought 3g of Hawaiian variety (dried) from the store, brought them back to our hotel room and ate them raw. They didnt taste overly bad, just bland but they stunk like old gym socks.

My two friends smoked a joint as we waited, I didnt have anything at all. After about 30 minutes I couldn't look at my friends face without breaking out into laughter, I was on the ground for a good 20 minutes in stitches. The other two werent feeling it as much but were laughing now and then, probably from the weed.

We went for a walk around the city and attempted to buy some flavoured milk from a store. My friends bought theirs first and because we couldn't read the label they ended up buying custard, this in turn put in my hysterics once more and I could barely buy my own drink as I had a hard time seeing what my money was worth and could barely communicate with straight people.

My friends complained they weren't feeling it enough, we went back and bought 3g of mexican variety and once again returned to our hotel room. I felt pretty good, was seeing good visuals and probably didnt need anymore but took the whole 3g at once anyway. One of my friends mixed some of his mushrooms with weed (northern lights) in a joint and we smoked that too, it tasted terrible almost like the smell of it.

For the rest of the afternoon we went to various cafes and smoked probably about 6 more spliffs between us, I began getting very paranoid. We then went to Mcdonalds to get some burgers...

My hearing started buzzing, getting louder and softer and the static was really annoying I could barely concentrate. I had in my mind I wanted a cheeseburger meal but when I got to the counter I opened my mouth to order then the buzzing got really bad, my vision sort of collapsed, blackness coming in from all angles, I gripped the counter and convulsed for about 6 seconds. During the convulsions I thought I was a goner, my friends had gone upstairs with their meals and didnt see me. The guy behind the counter gave me some oj and I was sweating torrents; my whole shirt was soaking. For the next hour or so I really had to focus to not let it happen again, it was a very scary experience.
