This was my first and only experience with Ketamine. Not that I wouldn't do it again, I just haven't been able to find it!

At 23 years old, I had been going to raves and using x for about 3 years. I had recently graduated college and moved to a different state where I met some of the best friends I've ever had (Much love to my E-Gang!)

So this particular Saturday night we were going to see a few top-notch DJs spin in Memphis, TN. I had no idea what kind of trip I was in store for.

At around 10:00 I plugged my first pill. It came on just as always, the familiar rush of energy and happiness. After dancing for a while I ventured back to our 'homebase' at the party to chill out with some friends.

When I got there a close friend of mine introduced me to a girl whom he said had been watching and asking about me all night. We quickly hit it off and both decided to take another pill.

She went to the bathroom for a minute, and while she was there, I made my discovery: an acquaintance of mine offered to sell me a baggie of specialK.

Never having tried it, I quickly bought it and asked a more experienced friend how much to take and what to expect from the experience.

I took one small key bump and it was just like he explained. he had held his hand flat at about chest level and said 'this is you on X...', he then raised his had in a swooping motion to above his head and said 'this is you on X and K.' Simple, but definately true.

Okay, now I'll fast forward to the interesting part. Since I had no concept of time by that point, I'll guess and say it was about 1 am. I had gotten myself one more pill by that time (a very powerful one, I might add) and finished off the K right before the upcoming occurence.

I had slipped into a K-hole, and when I woke up, sitting in a chair, my newfound girl companion was rubbing my back while in front of me an angel with short brown hair was dancing just for me. She was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen, and at the moment was the only thing I could see. When she finished her dance she came up to me and gave me a kiss on the forehead, then she seemed to morph into a regular, albeit very attractive, raver girl.

Wow.

But it doesn't stop there. We decided to leave the party and go to the after-club a little early. When we got out of the car at the after-club, we had to walk a distance. And walking was, by far, the most amazing phenomenon I'd ever experienced. The simple act of propelling ones self forward on one's own legs seemed incredible to me. Everything that moved, for that matter, was incredible. Motion, in all forms, took on a film-look in my eyes. Everything I saw was filmed in slow motion, then digitally sped up to 200% speed, and then slowed down to normal speed again. I was in complete awe.

I didn't come down from that trip for another six hours. And to this day, when I hear music with a very driving, steady beat, it immediately associates itself with that feeling of awe that I had when watching people walk. Therefore, it will always be my 'walking music.'
