During last winter, I had been doing to much shagging one night and put my back out (bit worrying at 18) and the pain the next day was getting worse as the day went on by the evening I had, had enough and decided to pop some pills (I will resist pharmaceuticals for aslong as I have too) I took 2 codeine knowing thats what my mother uses for her back, anyway I had thought nothing of it and went off and did some normal stuff around the house, I get a call 30 mins later from a friend telling me he is having a bit of a shindig at his big house, I thought excellent party time.
I get to this party 45mins later (+1:15) and the first thing I do is pour myself a big southern C and start sipping, then I go and roll a spliff. I had completely forgotten the 2 codeine I had munched one and a half hours earlier. I was in full party swing sipping and smoking, have a dip in the pool chatting to the ladies I was having a good session, 45mins later and I am on my second Southern C and realise I can't standup straight, 'Fuck what the fuck is going on!' I got a HUGE headrush and dropped to my knees for a few seconds.
My friends thought it was the funniest thing ever and wanted to know where I was getting my skunk from, but I knew it was the skunk, skunk doesn't effect your balance. then it clicked! The 2 codeine had obviously kicked in and propelled the whiskey to blast off! I was very worried at first realising the stupidity of my drinking and pilling. (if I do any pills or powders I won't drink more than a beer) By this time I was sitting back on my chair I tried to get up again and I had to hold onto the joist of the barn to keep my self straight, I felt like the ground was at a 45 degree angle and it kept moving. I had trouble speaking and holding a conversation I felt the effects of being REALLY drunk but with a fairly clear head still. everything was rocking pretty hard left & right and I am sure my visual field narrowed.
Once I had gotten over this initial shock I started to enjoy it, I shut my eyes listened to some music and lent back on my friends bed to feel my spine sink into oblivion. I love that feeling when the bottom of my spine rattles the rest of my vertebrate. There was definitely a warm euphoria rushing over my body nothing like E's or Amp but it was definitely there. About 1 or 2 hours later I don't really know, the rush had stopped and I was very very very tired and I shouldn't of been tired at all.
I was worried that I might fall asleep and not wake up so I went out in the cold rain and smoked lots of cigarettes to try and stay awake. It worked, I was outside for quite a while but once I came back in I was revitalized and ready to party on. I had good nights sleep that night anyway
So there ya go, this is what happened when I mixed codeine, whiskey, and spliffs. I think any higher dosages in either the whiskey or codeine and it could have got really dangerous,
