Before i start, i have to say that 2c-i is my favorite substance in the whole world. This drug is as psychedelic as they come, and every time is different.

I'd never heard of anyone smoking 2c-i, so i decided i'd try it with a small amount. So i took out a small, unmeasured chunk (about 3-5 mg), placed it into a small glass vial, and held a lighter to the bottom. The 2c-i vaporized after about 20 seconds, and I inhaled the thick, white smoke through a plastic drinking straw. The smoke was very harsh, but i held it in as long as i could, then took two more hits.

The onset was fairly quick, but i only experienced threshhold effects. I am very experienced with 2c-i, and the feeling i got from vaporization was somehow different then simply ingesting it. I'd compare it to an intense cannabis high. I also experienced some mild nausea, but nothing i couldn't handle. I was already coming down about 15 minutes later.

Overall i'd say that 2c-i is definately smokable. I might try a larger dose sometime.
