I was recently prescribed Tramadol for minor aches and pains due to a motor vehicle accident. I started out taking only the recommended dose (50mg every 4 - 6 hours), hoping that I could get a decent effect from it, since I had been taking Darvocet at its recommended dosage and was getting a pretty nice high off it. I worked my way up to 200mg and got a decent buzz, a feeling of mild intoxication. When I upped the dosage to 250mg, I noticed an increased feeling of intoxication and no additional nausea. I've found that the pills work better with less nausea when taken on am empty stomach. When I took them on a full stomach, it took 2 hours to feel any effect and I did feel nausiated. When I ate after taking the pills, I did vomit. Tramadol has given me a good time.
