I remember a time when all I could do was lie in bed. My body aching and thoughts of killing myself always on my mind. I went to so many doctors that I lost track, and they all said the same thing, it's all in your head. Do you know how that made me feel? I knew that I wasn't crazy, so finally I found a doctor that could help me. Turns out that I have Endometriosis and Fibromyalgia and that was why I was always in constant pain. We tried all types of medications and the only one that helped me was Methadone. I didn't get high, lightheaded, or sick. I am now able to live a normal life, and raise my daughter. I finally have a peace of mind knowing that I was right about being sick and that there is a treatment for me. Methadone got a bad rep due to what is was used for at first ( detox), and people taking it when not prescribed to them. When used correctly Methadone has many benefits, and I'm grateful to have my life back.
