Cocaine Killed My Adderall High

I was feeling tired but had already promised a friend I would check out this new club with him. He gave me a 20mg pill of Adderall. I'd previously done Adderall (20mg) twice in July and once in June, so I was relatively new to it. Like the previous times, this time I felt a gentle euphoria, my thoughts came faster, I lost all shyness and feelings of boredom and insecurity, and became quite chatty an hour after taking the 20 mg Adderall.

About four hours after taking the Adderall, I tried coke for the first time, just one line. I was expecting the cocaine to supplement my Adderall high, if not altogether blow my mind with more intense euphoria than I could imagine. Instead, this was the most anti-climactic, disappointing experience I can remember, more lame than the final episode of last season's 'The O.C.' or the final Seinfeld episode. I came down, albeit gently. This might have happened anyway, without the cocaine, since for me it usually takes 4 hours for the effects of 20 mg Adderall to wear off. Two hours after taking the coke I still felt charged, but the euphoria was gone. I took 37.5mg of Wellbutrin anti-depressant, and 5 mg of the SSRI Lexapro, just so I wouldn't crash emotionally. And i didn't, but the next day I felt down, sad, nostalgic, and vaguely disinterested.

In conclusion, either the coke did nothing for me because it was bunk and I came down off the Adderall in my normal fashion, or the coke cut my Adderall high short. I'm not sure which. Granted that my friend took the same coke and he got high, I think it's the former.
