Anyway, yesterday I decided to try magic mushrooms. My roommate suggested that seen its my first time and they are strong I should start on a low dose. I took 1.25 grams of mushrooms which I just put on a sub sandwich. After about twenty minutes I had begun to start feeling it. The feeling was quite reminiscent of the extreme agitation that I used to feel when I was quite severely depressed. Anyway I just sat back and relaxed. I sat down and played some video games, I found that I was starting to fall into trance like states, but I was experiencing many alternative visuals.
I felt quite euphoric and happy, just relaxed and was enjoying myself.

About an hour and half since I had taken them I decided to smoke a bowl of weed. Right after that, my roommate showed up and suggested that I just eat the rest now. As I had nothing to mix them with I tried eating them straight but I found that they absorbed all the liquid that they touch and were quite excruciating to eat. I didn't really have anything to mix them with, and I didn't really want to go make kraft dinner so I just poured them into a water bottle and decided I would just drink them down. This turned out to be a pretty bad idea as I nearly gagged a few times.
I started to notice visual alterations almost immediately after I had started to drink it down. I didn't experience anything as strong as my roommate had said I would, but that could be because of the gap in time between the doses. I noticed minor shifting in patterns, and bright colours seemed to pulse and move. I also started noticing patterns on lined surfaces, such as paper.
I found myself quickly falling into trances, and I found my voice to be in such a sharp contrast to the internal monologue running through my head.
I had taken the second dose of mushrooms at around 7:30-8, and I started coming down around 11-12. By that time I just felt very tired like I needed to sleep. Like my brain had been working hard for the last little while and I needed to sleep. My body felt really heavy (it still does, but not as much...).
Overall it was enjoyable... but not very exciting.
I can't say whether the prozac dulled it or not because I had never tried shrooms before this.
