DOSE:
  repeated   Amphetamines
BODY WEIGHT: 165 lb
I began to take Adderall in July 2004, simply for an occassional, fun high. Alot of my friends take Adderall for ADD, so its not hard at all to obtain. Prices are usually one U.S. dollar per 10mg, and 40-80mg is good. My first experience was on the 4th of July (fireworks looked amazing). Adderall XR-or extended release-obviously last longer than its regular counterpart.

60mg is a good median dose, and after about 1 hour a general well-being and mild euphoria sets in; then a desire to talk to everyone just to be social; at two hours hands and feet begin to twitch. Thoughts race from topic to topic, and involve unusual things. I might wonder how a long mower works for example. Obsessisve organization comes after about 5 hours. I spend hours cleaning or studying. While I talk incessantly, I tell myself to shutup, but keep on talking anyways. While all this is great, Adderall becomes a problem. The comedown is simply terrible.

Im very experienced with many drugs, and this stimulant's after-effects are not good. Even if I take the pills at 5am, I might get an hour of sleep at most the next day. I wont want to eat at all, so after 12 hours, my stomach will perform terribly nauseating summersaults.

I began to use Adderall in binges of 5-7 days. Tolerance rose, and 80-100 mg produced what 40mg formerly did. After each binge, I would have several days of depression, extreme hunger, and exhaustion-effects of a slight amphetamine psychosis.

SUMMARY: while Adderall is initially very affordable, fun, and difficult to be caught doing, it is very addictive for me and produces terrible tolerance, detox, and withrdrawl effects which are simply NOT WORTH it. period.
